The semi-trailer is designed to take and transport crushed mass of forage crops from forage harvesters, its subsequent delivery to the place of storage and back unloading by conveyor or loading into the receiving hopper of the silage-hay mass packer USM-1 or similar machines.

Special semi-trailer PS-45 can be manufactured in four versions:

1. PS-45 - semi-trailer with rigidly fixed expending side boards;

2. PS-45-1 - semi-trailer with fixed joint expanding side boards, driven by hydraulic cylinders;

3. PS-45-2 - semi-trailer with suspension system on low-pressure tires and rigidly fixed expanding side boards;

4. PS-45-3 - semi-trailer with suspension system on low-pressure tires and with rigidly fixed expanding side boards, driven by hydraulic cylinders.
